Just got back from a three day two night trip in Mt.Aspiring National Park. Awesome. Had rain and a good storm the first night in. The first nights hut is the fourth photo. Quite a bit of snow up high. About a 2.5 hour hike in to there. The second day I went up to the hut in the third picture. As you can see its WAY up on the side of the mountain. And hiked all way back out and to the car today. Am going on another 2-3 night trip starting tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be fine the next few days. May as well take advantage. Low 50's and sunny. Heavy frosts at night though. Beautiful Fall weather.
